Oscar Damiani, the former agent of several top Serie A stars, has confirmed that Napoli manager Antonio Conte is the right person to help Victor Osimhen if the Nigerian striker does not leave the club this summer.
Damiani, who previously represented the likes of Alessandro Costacurta, Lilian Thuram and Andriy Shevchenko, admitted selling Osimhen would be a difficult task for Napoli but suggested the time was now if they were to sell this summer.
However, if Osimhen ends up staying at the Stadio Diego Maradona for the 2024-25 season, Damiani believes Conte is the perfect coach to get the best out of him.
“The negotiations between Osimhen, Napoli and PSG are difficult and require a lot of money, even for PSG, which has the ownership to allow certain investments,” Damiani said.

“If he stays at Napoli, Conte will know how to give him the right motivation,” Damiani continued.
“Napoli is a great club and will fight with the greatest ambition.”
Damiani believes Conte still has a number of considerations to consider when changing his squad ahead of the 2024-25 season, both in terms of new arrivals and the players he already has.
“Conte will have to assess some of the players at Castel di Sangro. But at the moment the team has quality and can compete with other teams at a high level.”
