Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has admitted the club are not ready to challenge for the Premier League title this season and would rather focus on finishing in the top four than the Red Devils.
The Red Devils spent more than £200million on new players last summer after finishing eighth in the Premier League last season.
However, the Portuguese star does not see himself as competing with any other teams for the title this season.
The Red Devils have lost twice in their opening three games and their 3-0 loss against Liverpool at home was their worst performance. United have come under a slew of criticism for their continued lack of results despite a major overhaul in the transfer window. However, Fernandes has tempered expectations by claiming the league title was not achievable.
